Task: For the remainder of this semester, each of you will be responsible to take notes on an assigned day’s class discussion and posted to our Wiki. Your assigned date is posted on the wiki.
How-To Post: You must be a member of the Wiki in order to post. If you are not a member of the Wiki, you will not be able to post your required class notes task or your blog entries. This is a requirement of the course. Here’s the address (url) for our Wiki: http://greatbooksnicosia.wikispaces.com/ §On the left-hand scroll menu, you’ll find a page with “Note-Taking Dates” listed. Access that page and find your assigned date for note-taking. §At the top of the left-hand menu, you’ll see a link for “New Page.” Click on it and Title your page with your LAST NAME and the DATE §Use the Edit button (top right) to add content by either typing directly onto the page or by cutting and pasting onto the page. §Do NOT upload a document or file. While this is easy to do, it does not load as text on a page. Rather, it uploads as a document file that must be downloaded in order to be read—therefore, this is not useful for our class. §Be sure to hit the SAVE button before you quite—and perhaps several times through your typing. We don’t want to lose data! REMEMBER: Monday’s notes will be due by Wednesday’s class time. Wednesday’s notes will be due by Friday at 10:30.
